Billing & Insurance

Olive Speech & Language Therapy is a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.

This allows us to provide highly individualized, flexible care that is tailored to your child and family, without the limitations often required by insurance providers.

A superbill can be provided upon request for families who wish to seek possible reimbursement through their insurance.

San Diego Regional Center’s Early Start Program

Olive Speech & Language Therapy is a vendor with the San Diego Regional Center’s Early Start program. If your child is eligible for services through the Regional Center, speech therapy may be funded at no cost to your family.

Please reach out, and we can provide you with our vendor number to share with your Service Coordinator.

  • If you're concerned about your child's communication, it's worth reaching out for a consultation. Early signs may include delayed speech, difficulty understanding language, trouble being understood by others, limited social communication, stuttering, or feeding concerns. We offer complimentary consultations to help determine whether an evaluation may be beneficial.

  • Olive Speech & Language Therapy specializes in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Services are individualized based on each child's needs and goals.

  • We accept cash, checks, HSA/FSA funds, and all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • No. Olive Speech & Language Therapy is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. However, a superbill can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and will depend on your individual insurance plan.

  • Yes. Olive Speech & Language Therapy accepts HSA and FSA payments for eligible services. Documentation and superbills are available upon request. Families should check with their HSA/FSA administrator regarding specific eligibility and reimbursement requirements.

  • Yes. An evaluation is an important first step in developing a personalized treatment plan for your child. We also accept outside evaluations completed within the past 6 months.

  • Absolutely. We know how important it is for everyone on your child’s team to be on the same page. With your written consent, we are happy to connect and collaborate with any professionals involved in your child’s care.
